"I cannot say how much I have enjoyed this year, it’s been great.  The coaching has been excellent, the opportunity to play team tennis a real bonus and the welcome nothing short of fantastic. It’s been really good having the Welcome Wednesday as an opportunity to meet and hit with other players."

"Playing for the 3rd team was the highlight, it was great fun, even when getting hammered!" (We were in a year of transition). "The recent grass court tournament was also a memorable experience.  It really felt as if I were part of the club.  Next year’s date will be going straight into my diary."

This was an email from a member who joined this year thanks to Welcome Wednesdays and this was his opinion (we promise it wasn't under duress!) of the club. What more could you ask for a new member to say...

I'm sure if you have any questions you would like to ask Mark, then he would happily answer them: mark.dimension@gmail.com

"I have been a member of Urmston Tennis Club for 30 years as both a junior and senior member, playing both socially and competitively. There is an excellent junior section and both my children have attended coaching sessions which they have thoroughly enjoyed. There is a very friendly senior section with excellent coaching sessions for both tennis skills and fitness which were of great use when improving my overall game. I currently enjoy playing social tennis and there is always someone willing to have a game.

I have been a tennis member since 1973, and playing match tennis since 1976. The one thing that hasn't changed over all those years is the friendliness, camaraderie and inclusivity that has, and still is shown by everyone at the Club to each other. It's a great place to play and a great place to socialise as well.
